Experiences to enjoy
The Antholz Valley has a lot to offer in both summer and winter, and there is plenty more besides. It is not without reason that the New York Times refers to the Dolomites as a mega open-air playground, a must for outdoor adventurers in both summer and winter. Look forward to it!

01
Hiking
Once around Lake Antholz, across the biotope or up to the Oberraut Alm. Lake Braies or the Three Peaks are also options, of course, but it’s no less beautiful here in the Antholz Valley!

02
Biking
Cool MTB trails through the forest, to the bike park on Kronplatz or one of the rewarding tours across the valley, by road bike, e-bike or mountain bike. And in our small lockable cellar, your bike can look forward to the next ride!
03
Adrenaline
Paragliding tandem flight from Kronplatz, the thrill of swinging on the giant swing, rafting, climbing, high ropes course or ziplining past the waterfalls. Who said anything about boredom here?

04
Dive in
Yoga by the lake, herb workshops, bacon tasting or schnapps distilling. The team at the tourist office is always coming up with cool ideas, and you are welcome to join in if you feel like it. Take a look!

05
Excursions
One of the Messner Mountain Museums, the Lumen at Kronplatz, a tasting at the Alpe Pragas jam factory or the Loacker hands-on confectionery in East Tyrol? We have lots of tips, we’re here for you!

06
Shopping
The small town of Bruneck is not to be missed, as it has been named Italy’s most liveable city. Lienz, Bressanone and Bolzano are also always worth a visit.
07
Skiing
It is exactly 6 km to the small Riepenlift in Antholz and just as many to Kronplatz, South Tyrol’s largest ski area with 31 modern lifts and a total of 121 km of slopes! Look forward to it! And the free ski bus stops right outside the Rousa!

08
Cross-country skiing
The cross-country ski trail starts almost on your doorstep and takes you across the white sea further into the Antholz Valley. And if you like, you can do your laps at Lake Antholz, where world-class biathletes do every year, past the shooting range and the famous Huber Alm!

09
Hiking
With snowshoes or touring skis on snow-covered alpine pastures and peaks, or simply with sturdy winter boots across the winter valley. And with the feeling that this picture-perfect landscape belongs only to you!

Snowshoe tours, torchlight hikes, carriage rides, bread baking on sticks, or cross-country skiing taster sessions... The team at the local tourist office is always coming up with cool ideas, and you are welcome to join in if you feel like it. Take a look!
