The love for design and an old farmhouse

The old farmhouse is already several hundred years old, and it was precisely those years that the careful renovation aimed to preserve and make tangible. In the old stube, for example, where the original paneling was meticulously reinstalled, with the open, pitch-black smoke kitchen where bacon and sausages were once smoked, or the small stone-built cellar, which today houses the ski and bike room.

All this is complemented by modern comforts, a keen sense of architecture and design, a good dose of courage and a love of the little things. These are the things that make life so special.

And they are also what make the Rousa so special!

Is it love?

“It was simply wow, our favourite part of the trip. Everything is beautiful in this place, furnished with great care. Then there’s the warm welcome from Annalena – it’s admirable how much attention she pays to her guests’ comfort. Let’s not forget to mention the breakfast included: incredible, it’s simply enchanting. Everything is fresh and delicious. I would have given it 10 stars, a clear recommendation!”
